When a tray loses to a wet floor
Loft bathrooms in Lombok often have uneven joists and low headroom. A tray that needs a step feels unsafe for toddlers and awkward for adults under a slope. A wet floor with a linear drain along the low wall keeps the walking surface level while directing water away from the door.
We still keep a dry landing for the toilet and vanity wherever the footprint allows, so towels and toilet paper stay outside the spray path.
Falls, drains, and thresholds
Drawings show fall direction, drain type, and the height of any threshold relative to the corridor floor. Canal-house bathrooms sometimes sit above living rooms; we mark waterproofing extents so splash cannot migrate through floor edges.
Your waterproofing specialist remains responsible for membrane choice and installation. Our notes state design intent: wet zone boundary, fixture positions, and where tiled upstands must continue.
Glass, screens, and open sprays
Open wet rooms need careful spray control. We place the shower rose so the primary jet aims toward a tiled wall, not toward the door. Fixed glass panels or a short screen can protect a vanity without enclosing the whole wet zone.

Heating and drying in sealed rooms
