Process timeline

A fixed sequence from first measure to site check so families and contractors share one plan. Studio visits happen at Oudegracht 158; surveys take place in your Utrecht bathroom.

1. Listen and measure

   A consult—studio or on site—covers who uses the bathroom, morning routines, and any contractor already engaged. Laser measurements capture walls, ceilings, windows, and pipe positions. Photographs document finishes and problem corners. This visit sits in the EUR 140–280 range based on location within Utrecht and document review time.

   You leave with a short written summary of constraints before full design fees are agreed.

2. Draft concept layouts

   Two layout options are typical for family baths: one that maximises storage, one that maximises wet-zone comfort. We present them with rough product directions, not final brands. Feedback happens by email or at the Oudegracht table with sample boards for tiles and vanity finishes.

   We pause if landlord approval or structural advice is still pending; drawings do not outrun permissions.

3. Issue detailed schedules

   Once a direction is chosen, we produce dimensioned plans, elevations where needed, fixture lists, and waterproofing notes. Lighting positions and vanity cut-outs are included. These documents form the core of packages priced between roughly EUR 900 and EUR 4800.

   You share the pack with plumbers and tilers for quotes. We clarify design intent; we do not negotiate their labour rates.

4. Guide procurement

   We advise on lead times and delivery paths into canal houses. Clients usually purchase products themselves or through their contractor; we supply exact codes and finishes to avoid substitutions that break the plan. If a product goes out of stock, we propose an equivalent that keeps the same dimensions.

5. Site check and close

   Near completion we offer a walkthrough in Utrecht to compare the built room with the drawings. Snag lists focus on design alignment—tile setout, fixture heights, lighting aim—while workmanship remains the contractor’s responsibility. Final files are archived under your project street name.
